Oil pipeline mesh refers to the metal/plastic net material that is wrapped around the outer wall of an oil pipeline and is used for protection, reinforcement, weight distribution, and insulation.
Key Parameters (mainly metal mesh)
Wire diameter: 2.0 - 5.0mm (commonly 2.5 - 3.0mm).
Mesh size: 20×20 - 100×100mm (customizable).
Width: 190mm - 2.5m; Length: 140 - 280m / roll.
Tensile strength: 485 - 650N/mm², suitable for buried / deep-sea high pressure.Application Scenarios
Offshore oil and gas pipelines: Add metal mesh in the concrete counterweight layer to resist water pressure, prevent erosion, and stabilize the pipeline.
Long-distance buried pipelines:
Metal mesh: Reinforce the top / side of the pipe, prevent heavy load crushing and rock impact.
Plastic mesh: Fully wrap the pipe, isolate the anti-corrosion layer from the soil, prevent scratches and static electricity.
Special environments: Swamps, saline-alkali land, crossing roads / railway sections, enhance the structure and extend the lifespan.Selection Tips
Offshore: Choose hot-dip galvanized wave-welded mesh, wire diameter ≥ 2.5mm, mesh size 50×50mm.
Buried anti-corrosion: Choose HDPE black extruded mesh, thickness ≥ 3mm, diamond-shaped mesh.
Load-bearing sections: Choose high-carbon steel welded mesh, wire diameter ≥ 3.0mm, denser mesh.
